Hold the earring front between your thumb and index finger
Insert the post through the piercing
With your other hand, grasp the screw back firmly (rubber gloves can help get a better grip)
Align the hole in the screw on back with the post
Slowly turn the earring FRONT clockwise while holding the screw-on back in place until it catches the threaded
back and is going on straight
Continue turning until the earring back will no longer turn and feels straight and secure
